Founded in 1973 by UCT-trained Quantity Surveyor Keith Boshard, Boshard Construction has built its reputation on a core philosophy of family, quality, and continuous development. Keith’s vision was simple yet powerful: a construction firm should operate like a family, empowering its people through training and development, and drawing in dedicated employees, associates, and service providers who share that same spirit.

In 1977, Victor Holland joined our team, later serving as Construction Director until his retirement in 2012, while Yusuf Meyer, who began as Finance Manager in 1988 and advanced to Managing Director in 1997, played an integral role until 2008. Their dedication and expertise enabled us to evolve from a specialised sub-contractor in steel structures, bricklaying, wet trades, and concrete flooring into the full-service construction company we are today.
